Fourth consecutive year of mutually beneficial relationship with Easterns Titans (Pty) Ltd franchise

Global vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions company Ctrack, a subsidiary of Novatel Wireless, has renewed its associate sponsorship agreement with the Easterns Titans (Pty) Ltd Cricket Team, The Unlimited Titans. The announcement was made at the recent The Unlimited Titans Awards evening held in Centurion.

This will be the fourth consecutive year that Ctrack sponsors the highly successful team. The proud history of The Unlimited Titans is entrenched on their top performance at all times. Over the past three years, The Unlimited Titans have won all major cricket tournaments – Ram Slam T20, Momentum One Day Cup and Sunfoil Series – which resulted in many of their top players being selected at national level.

Ctrack’s association with the team, including strong stadium branding at SuperSport Park, Centurion, and kit branding, contributed to a significant increase in brand awareness.  Further, the partnership created plenty of hospitality opportunities for Ctrack customers.

“We are pleased to continue with the partnership, I believe it is beneficial to both parties.  I want to thank Ctrack for their involvement and for their willingness to partner with us for another season,” said Jacques Faul, CEO of Easterns Titans (Pty) Ltd.

Said Pierre Bruwer, MD of Ctrack SA: “Three years ago, Ctrack saw the need to invest in its operating community. As Easterns Titans (Pty) Ltd is based in Pretoria, home to Ctrack, we seized the opportunity to support one of the most successful cricket franchises in South Africa and haven’t looked back.”

Ctrack has on many occasions shown its commitment to the development of the different sporting codes. Recently, they announced their associate sponsorship with the Emirates Lions rugby team, which sees the Ctrack brand firmly visible on the back of the shorts of their official playing kit in the Super Rugby and Currie Cup tournaments. They are also taking their sponsorship of the South African Police Service Head Office Football Association (SAPSHOFA) into a third year, which shows their commitment to promote sport and fitness within the police service.
