Suspects arrested and stolen property recovered after robbery at Farm in Wellington

Western Cape: During the early hours of this morning Wellington Detectives arrested six suspects between the ages of 25 and 43 for house robbery which was perpetrated the previous day. The suspects allegedly enter a house on a farm in Wellington on Tuesday 30 August 2016 at about 22:30. The suspects threatened the occupants of the house with a knife and other sharp objects and demanded cash where after they fled the scene in a vehicle with personal property, cellular telephones, laptops and a rifle with ammunition.

Investigation led detectives to a residence in Paarl where they arrested the suspects, seized a vehicle and the stolen property as well as the firearm. The suspects will appear on a charge of house robbery and other related charges in the Wellington Magistrates court once they have charged.
