Mazda Dealership wins at the 2016 Sewells MSX International NADA Business of the Year Awards

Super Group Leons Mazda Rustenburg walked away with the top honour in the Small Dealership Category at the major gala awards dinner held on the 8th of March 2017, at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and Conference Centre in Midrand.

Christo Henning, Super Group Leons Mazda’s Dealer Principal credits the success of the Rustenburg dealership to a seamless approach to customer service from the initial sales leads to total aftersales. Christo also acknowledges the support of Mazda SA whose systems and approaches are customer friendly as well as the Leons team who re-established the Mazda brand and took it to the market using activations.

Mazda Vereeniging also represented the brand well as a top 5 finalist in the Medium Dealership Category. Newly appointed Dealer Principal, Jaco Naude is highly complimentary of the support and mentorship he received from Mazda SA. He stuck to the basics – embedding a “Customer Comes First” rule throughout the dealership and effectively used CRM and digital platforms. His results are a testament to a positive attitude and a customer focused ethos.

“We are proud to have such esteemed brand custodians looking after our customers. They have achieved outstanding results and are well deserving of the recognition. As with all our dealer partners, we will continue to form strong relationships; treat them as true business partners, be transparent, up-front, open and honest in everything we do.” – Comments Mr Craig Roberts, Head of Sales at Mazda SA.

The Business-of-the-Year contest is organised under the auspices of the National Automobile Dealers’ Association (NADA) and Sewells-MSX International, an outsourcing and consulting company that specialises in the automotive industry. Operating financial data of more than 1 000 dealerships countrywide are evaluated each month and once a year the best performers are honoured at the award ceremony.
