This morning Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for a petrol tanker that was burning. Exact detail to the cause of the fire is still speculative and will form part of the fire department and police investigation.
Paramedics and the fire services arrived and found two tankers well alight. No persons have been injured at this stage. Firefighters are working tirelessly so combat the fire, the N2 north has been closed for safety reasons.
