Vryheid Task Team and K9 Unit followed up on intelligence with regards to a stolen vehicle at Utrecht. According to information received by police, the vehicle which was stolen in Durban was proceeding in their direction. A vehicle fitting the same description was spotted at Utrecht and was intercepted by police officers.
Police arrested five men who were found in the vehicle. Investigations revealed that the vehicle was stolen from its owner in Durban. All five men, aged between 21 and 36, were arrested and charged for theft of the motor vehicle. They will appear in the Utrecht Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
