At approximately 17:00 on Saturday, a vehicle entered a shopping complex in the Westville area. It was detected by intelligence systems as wanted by the South African Police Services in connection with multiple theft cases in the Upper Highway area.
CCTV operators monitored the vehicle and it’s occupants whilst a call for assistance was made via the Ensure Security controllers positioned in the E2 KZN Operational Command Centre.
On arrival of the South African Police Services, two females and a male suspect were apprehended by Ensure Security and arrested. An additional female suspect remains at large.
The investigation and details of the case are ongoing.
