Housebreaking suspect arrested at Ottawa, KwaZulu Natal
A suspect that attempted to break-in into a home on Mungal Road in Ottawa was arrested by members of Reaction Unit South Africa a short while ago.
Reaction Officers were dispatched to the property after receiving a call from the homeowner reporting a break-in in progress. Several RUSA Officers were dispatched to the home and upon arrival established that the suspect had fled from the premises. The victim provided Officers with a clothing description of the suspect.
While on patrol in Riet River Officers spotted an individual matching the description provided. When the suspect noticed the Reaction Officers he attempted to flee however was apprehended.
The suspect was positively identified by the homeowner as the person that attempted to break into her home.
