What are they typical crashes caused by texting and driving?

The Arrive Alive website often receives requests from media agencies asking for statistical data on drunken driving and cellular usage and driving. Unfortunately very little statistical data is available on distracted driving as very few of those crash victims will admit that they were distracted behind the wheel. They are often too well aware that their insurance may dismiss their insurance claims if they admit to having used their cellular phones while they were driving!
