Anti-Gang Unit members seize approximately 6 000 Mandrax tablets, arrest suspect in Constantia

WESTERN CAPE – An intelligence-driven operation conducted by the Anti-Gang Unit members in Steenberg has led the police to approximately 6 000 Mandrax tablets, cash to the amount of R90 000-00 and the arrest of a 49-year-old suspect. He is believed to have been distributing drugs to areas such as Lavender Hill and Atlantis.

The suspect is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow on charges of possession and dealing in drugs.

Western Cape SAPS management has commended the efforts of the Anti-Gang Unit in ridding the streets of drugs.
