East London Mounted Unit rides for the safety of holidaymakers during the Festive Season

East London Mounted Unit members turning the tide against crime at Ebuhlanti and all East London Beaches on Christmas Day.

During their day long Crime Prevention patrols, the members confiscated packets of Dagga, Mandrax pill, knife and Tik.

Their visibility also saved a woman from a boyfriend who was spotted assaulting her at Ebuhlanti. The SAPS mounted unit members averted the situation which had a potential to spark violence in the famous entertainment area of the Buffalo City Metro for holiday makers popularly known as Ebuhlanti.
The alleged perpetrator was immediately removed from Ebuhlanti to East London Police Station.
