House gutted in a fire in Hambanathi – KZN

A house on Zola Place in Hambanathi, Tongaat was extensively damaged after it caught alight this morning (Monday).

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the property at approximately 07:14 after a neighbor noticed the roof on fire. On arrival, it was confirmed that each room in the house was being rented out separately. All occupants had been evacuated as the fire spread rapidly through the residence. Fire Fighters arrived on the scene and extinguished the blaze.

No injuries were reported.
