Female airlifted after attempted hijacking incident

A female motorist has been left fighting for her life after being shot in an alleged attempted hijacking incident last night.

Emer-G-Med paramedics arrived on the scene just after 9PM in the Cullinan area of Gauteng, to find the lady in critical condition.

A decision was made to airlift the lady with the assistance of the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter to a specialist facility for the definitive care that she required.

The South African Police Services were in attendance and will be conducting the necessary investigation accordingly.
