Casa Alfa Romeo wins FuoriConcorso 2025 with glorious cars and launch of book on genesis of new 33 Stradale

Large crowds, including collectors, experts and enthusiasts from all over the world, attended the two-day FuoriConcorso 2025. a prestigious event that since 2019 has been celebrating automotive culture through thematic exhibitions of rare and vintage cars, in iconic locations overlooking Lake Como. The theme this year – Velocissimo – Italian Race Cars – highlighted the adrenaline-fueled appeal of Italian racing cars, including some of the most significant Alfa Romeo creations, which continue to buzz in the collective unconscious to this day.
As Official Partner of the event, the brand enchanted visitors with an exhibition of around 15 legendary cars, held in the gardens of the splendid Villa Sucota, transformed for the event into the “Casa Alfa Romeo,” an exclusive space entirely dedicated to the brand of noble Italian sportiness since 1910. These rarities, some from the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese and others from private collections, include the 1930 6C 1750 Gran Sport, the 1965 Giulia TZ2, the 1975 33 TT 12 and the 1951 GP Tipo 159 “Alfetta.” Alongside these monarchs of motorsport, a standout was the new 33 Stradale, which ensures outstanding performance on the track, designed with no compromises in terms of comfort and ease of use, even on an everyday basis.
Plus, in this location of rare beauty, the official launch of the book Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale took place on Friday evening. An editorial work of great value, it was created entirely by the Alfa Romeo team and sets out the genesis of the new 33 Stradale. In particular, before an audience of professionals passionate about the sector, some of the book’s authors explained the enthusiasm, challenges and intuition that accompanied every stage in this extraordinary creative adventure, showing all the emotions in retracing the salient stages of an ambitious one-off of a project. Unveiled in 2023 and produced in only 33 models, the new fuoriserie type-approved to be driven on the road represents the return of the legendary 33 Stradale, an icon of the 1960s, reputed by many to be one of the most beautiful cars of all time, and derived directly from the Tipo 33 – once a big name in world motorsport. The launch of this exclusive editorial work therefore marked one of the most intense moments of the entire weekend on Lake Como, sealing the deep bond between the public and a brand that continues to inspire the sportiness of the 21st century.
Published by Rizzoli and distributed through a global licensing agreement with Rizzoli and Rizzoli International, in Italian and English versions, the tome Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale will be in bookstores from June 10 (248 pp., RRP €85) and is destined to become a benchmark for collectors and enthusiasts.
