School search operation at schools in the Kagiso area

Members of Kagiso SAPS, Gauteng Traffic Police, and Gauteng Traffic Wardens conducted a joint school search operation at schools in the Kagiso area as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of learners and educators.

During the operation, several prohibited items were confiscated, including space cookies, an okapi knife, a knobkierie, hookah pipes, drugs, a self-made metal object, and pepper spray.
Four learners were issued suspension letters, and disciplinary processes will be instituted against them in accordance with school and departmental policies.
