Jetour South Africa delegation joins celebrations at Jetour’s 8th Global Fan Festival

delegation from Jetour South Africa, including key partners, customers and brand influencers, attended Jetour’s 8th Global Fan Festival which was held in the historic city of Kaifeng, China, last week. Under the theme “Travel Worldwide”, the event brought together over 1 000 international fans, stakeholders and partners for a showcase of innovation, social responsibility, and community spirit.

This annual event celebrates collaboration, adventure, and responsibility, with Jetour International officially launching the “Worldwide Children’s Welfare” initiative, a programme designed to provide educational support and safety awareness to children in underserved communities. The initiative, which is already active in Angola, and Iraq, supports schools with essential supplies and raises awareness about traffic safety.

A highlight from the festival was the unveiling of the Jetour G700, a full-size luxury off-road SUV that represents a bold new chapter for the brand, combining cutting-edge technology with formidable off-road performance. Sales of this new model are currently kicking off in China and the Middle East, with plans to expand into additional markets soon, including South Africa, where it is expected to arrive within the next two years.

Another highlight for the South African delegation was an exclusive tour of Jetour’s Kaifeng Intelligent Manufacturing Plant, a facility at the forefront of modern automotive production. Visitors were taken through advanced production lines and stringent quality control systems, offering a glimpse into the precision, durability, quality, and safety that underpins every Jetour vehicle.

Jetour’s footprint in South Africa is expanding rapidly, having recently broken into the country’s top 15 best-selling automotive brands within less than a year of launching locally. With two exciting new SUV models set to launch before the end of the year, this momentum is set to accelerate even further. As demand for affordable, feature-rich SUVs grows locally, these new models are well positioned to attract strong consumer interest and drive sales.

To strengthen the brand’s customer engagement and foster a growing community of Jetour drivers across the country, Jetour South Africa has also announced the launch of the Jetour Owners Club, a platform that will provide exclusive experiences, perks and discounts for Jetour owners.
