MEC Kaunda assures shoppers & road users of their safety

The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mr Mxolisi Kaunda accompanied by eThekwini Deputy Mayor, Mrs Fawzia Peer, conducted a crime and road safety blitz in the uMlazi, Isipingo, Folweni and KwaMakhutha taxi ranks and malls.

The reason for the crime and road safety blitz is to assure members of the community that the provincial government has prioritised their safety during the festive season.

The blitz forms part of government’s festive season integrated safety plan to fight crime and road carnage.
