Gauteng: Factory worker electrocuted in Boksburg

Gauteng: At 09H03 Thursday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of an industrial incident in Delmore Boksburg.

Reports from the scene indicate that a 25-year-old male factory worker had sustained serious injuries after being electrocuted.

The patient was resuscitated on the scene by the clinic nurse who handed the patient over to a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner.

The patient was stabilized on the scene by medics who managed to get a pulse back.

Due to the nature of his injuries, the Netcare 7 specialised helicopter ambulance was activated to airlift him to the hospital.
