Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism mourns loss of Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism (NMBT) today will mourn with millions from around the world at the passing of world icon Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, but will celebrate his example of inspirational living.

As a destination privileged to be named after humanitarian, freedom fighter and world icon of peace we pledge to allow Madiba’s spirit to live on through us. We will continue to share the dreams of unity, peace and freedom. May we continue to be inspired by his wisdom and actions, and use our time on this planet as wisely as he did to allow the legacy to live on through everyone of us.

We extend our sincere condolences to the Mandela family and all South Africans.
