Stolen vehicle recovered in Newtown C – KZN
A silver VW Polo Comfortline that was stolen from Lentfern Place in Redfern, Phoenix was recovered by members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) in Newtown C.
At approximately 06:37 Reaction Officers began tracking the stolen vehicle after its tracking device started emitting signals in the lower Inanda area. RUSA Members honed in on the signal and recovered the vehicle abandoned on the roadside. The vehicle’s ignition was damaged and several panels from the dashboard were removed.
The vehicle was handed over to the South African Police for further investigation.
