Pinetown truck crash leaves three injured

IMG-20160418-WA0004-1This morning Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for a truck that collided into a building along Hillclimb Road, Westmead, Pinetown.

Reports from the scene indicate that the truck was coming down a steep hill when the vehicle veered off the roadway and collided into the building.

Paramedics and the Netcare 911 rescue officer arrived at the scene and found that a concrete pillar had snapped off and crushed the roof of the truck.

Medics examined the injured and found that three people sustained moderate injuries.

After the injured was treated at the scene medics transported them to a hospital in Hillcrest for the care that they required.
