Hijacking at Berea area
At approximately 20:30 Marshall Security were alerted to a hijacking which had occurred in the Berea area.
An unknown number of armed suspects had reportedly hijacked a Volkswagen Golf V.
Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was fitted with a tracking device monitored by Tracker and Marshall Security’s Special Operations Team was activated to assist.
The vehicle was tracked and found abandoned in the Inanda area, where it was secured and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing. The suspects remain at large.
