Nature photographer captures battle against veld fires near White River on camera

Our friend and well known nature photographer Hilton Kotze emailed a few photos of efforts to battle veld fires. Massive forest fires broke out with strong winds in White River today. People were trapped in houses and helicopters (4) were called in to help. Dangerous smoke also caused bad visibility on roads in the area.
