Laptop thieves arrested after police chase

It was definitely an unlucky Friday the 13th for two alleged laptop thieves who were arrested during an integrated effort between Brooklyn, Garsfontein and Lyttleton police officials in Pretoria.

The duo, pretending to be delivery men, snatched the laptop from a bridal shop in Brooklyn and fled in a white Ford Fiesta.

Brooklyn police called for backup and vehicles from Garsfontein, Lyttleton and the Flying Squad joined in the search.

When they pulled the Ford Fiesta over, the two suspects fled on foot but were pursued and apprehended with the stolen laptop.

Thanks to the dedicated and fit police officers who proved that they will get their suspects, no matter what type of crime committed.
