Truck and car collides on the N2 south at the M7 off ramp

On Wednesday afternoon at 15h11 Netcare 911 paramedics and their rescue unit responded to the call of a collision between a truck and a car on the N2 south  at the M7 off ramp. Reports indicate that one of the vehicles was changing lanes when the car was caught under the rear wheel of the truck.

Medics arrived at the scene and found that the car had veered off on impact and smashed through the Armco barriers, its twisted frame came to rest on the grass verge between the highway and the off ramp. The truck had come to rest about a hundred meters down the roadway.

Medics examined the driver of the vehicle and although she was traumatised she sustained no injuries and did not want to go to hospital.
