Two killed in collision between truck and taxi on R512 Renosterspruit area

At least two people have been declared dead and multiple other people have been injured in a collision between a truck and a taxi on the  R512 Renosterspruit area.

ER24 paramedics and other services are currently on scene attending to patients. One of the patients declared dead is a young child. At least two people have been critically injured. The ER24 medical helicopter and another private medical helicopter has been activated to airlift two of the patients to hospital.

At least 12 others have sustained minor to serious injuries as well.

The road has been closed to traffic.
