Housebreaking reported in Umgeni Park, north of Durban.

Marshall Security received a call, shortly after 7PM on Saturday, from a home owner stating his premises had been broken into, in Brownsdrift Road, in the quiet suburb of Umgeni Park, north of Durban.

Armed Reaction officers responded to the scene and on further investigation it was reported that the home owner, who returned home after a day out, found his home had been burgled.

An unknown number of suspects gained entry to the premises via a kitchen window, making off with flat screen televisions, iPads and various other items.

A case has been opened at the Durban North South African Police Services and further investigations are underway.
