Severe damage to property in house fire in Honeydew
ER24 paramedics attended to a house fire at a plot in Honeydew earlier today.
Sadly, there has been severe damage to the main house on the property. It is believed that the fire started in one of the rooms in the house and spread threatening another building on the property.
Firefighters on scene managed to save most of the second building however are still fighting the blaze in the main house.
Fortunately no one at the property was injured. The SPCA was also on scene to assess animals.
The exact cause of the fire is unknown.
