SAPS Annual Prestige Awards ceremony recognizes achievements in Crime Prevention

Western Cape: The SAPS Annual Prestige Awards ceremony was held at the Century City Conference Centre on Friday, 07 October 2016. The event honours and recognises extraordinary work by employees of the SAPS and volunteers.

A total of 22 awards were conferred on recipients at the event that was attended by police senior management, government officials within the Justice Crime Prevention and Security Cluster, business executives and community based organisations.

Western Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lt General Jula congratulated the recipients. The winners will take part in the national competition to be held later in the year. Provincial CPF Board Chairperson Mr Andrew Lyon commended and urged police officials to serve with honour.
