Business Robbery suspects arrested at Thaba Nchu

Free State: Thaba Nchu Police and Selosesha Crime Intelligence managed to apprehend two suspects for business robbery committed at a local clothing store in Thaba’Nchu yesterday, 3 November 2016.

Three suspects armed with what seemed like a firearm and a gas gun allegedly stormed into the store and instructed customers to lie on the floor. They allegedly emptied tills and the safe, stole 13 cellphones and fled with their gateway car. Thaba’ Nchu members on patrol responded and gave chase. Two suspects were arrested and two are still on the run. The getaway vehicle was confiscated. A toy gun and gas gun were recovered as well as money and cellphones that were stolen.

The suspects, aged 22 and 28 years, will appear in court soon.
