Recovery of hijacked motor vehicle in Essenwood
Shortly after 23:00 on Friday, Marshall Security were alerted to a motor vehicle which had been hijacked earlier in the evening in Musgrave Road in Essenwood.
The vehicle taken, a white Volkswagen Golf GTI, was fitted with a satellite tracking device, monitored by BidTrack.
Marshall Security’s Special Operations Team were activated to assist and after a brief tracking period, the vehicle was found abandoned off a main road in the lower Berea area.
The suspects remain at large.
The vehicle was secured and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
