Head of Dialdirect Insurance walks away with 2 Awards

Maanda Tshifularo, the Head of Dialdirect Insurance, recently walked away with the JCI SA Ten Outstanding Young Persons award.  He was also voted as one of the 2019 Mail & Guardian 200 Young South Africans.

The Ten Outstanding Young Persons of South Africa Awards programme recognises individuals between the ages of 18 and 40 who exemplify the best attributes of young people.  Now in its 13th year, the Mail & Guardian’s popular annual feature celebrates eminent 200 Young South Africans between the ages of 18-35.  Tshifularo was voted in the Business and Entrepreneurship category.

Born and raised in Limpopo (HaBegwa), Tshifularo holds a string of qualifications including a Chemical Engineering degree from UCT, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Wits Business School, a Masters in Business Leadership from the UNISA Graduate School of Business Leadership, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice from Henley Business School and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning from Milpark Education.  He is currently studying towards a PHD at the University of Johannesburg.

“I am very honoured to be recognised with these prestigious awards. It’s testament to the power of self-belief, determination, resilience and hard work.  My advice to others is to stretch yourself to unravel all your capabilities. Constant learning and the hunger to expand your knowledge is key to growth,” says Tshifularo.
