House destroyed in a fire in Sandfields
The upper level of a home on Abbu Govender Drive in Sandfields – Tongaat was ravaged by a fire a short while ago (Monday).
At approximately 13:41 members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to the scene after receiving multiple calls from the public reporting the fire. Upon arrival, Firefighters were in attendance and battling the blaze which rapidly spread throughout the upper level of the home. The house was unoccupied when the fire had started.
The cause of the fire has not been established at this stage.
