Newly elected Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda officially sworn in
Today, Mxolisi Kaunda was officially sworn in as the eThekwini Metropolitan Mayor following elections by the city council
Kaunda is the fifth Mayor of the Metro since 1994.
Kaunda is the former ANC Youth League KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Chairperson, who has held multiple positions since his days in the Youth League, with his most recent position in the province being that of MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison.
The Departments’ of Transport and Community Safety and Liaison congratulate the Honourable Mayor of the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality, Cllr Mxolisi Kaunda and wish him well in his new position in the province.
