Hijacked taxi recovered in Ndwedwe – KZN
A hijacked Toyota Quantum was recovered in a joint operation between members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), Tracker and the South African Police in Ndwedwe.
RUSA received information from Tracker that the taxi was hijacked by three armed suspects in Nsuze north of Durban. The vehicle’s tracking device was emitting signals in Ndwedwe. Reaction Officers, SAPS Officers from Ndwedwe & Umhlali and a Tracker Operations Member proceeded to the area and recovered the minibus abandoned near an unpaved road.
The driver was injured after he was pistol-whipped by the gunmen.
