Motorcycles recovered from theft syndicate in Pretoria East
For the past two months, there was a very big spike in theft of motorcycles, especially in the Pretoria East area.
Our tactical units T1, T2, and T3 launched a manhunt looking for these suspects, after a thorough investigation we managed to obtain the vehicles used in these crimes. As well as a lot of useful information.
After nights of observation and investigation, we learned the routes and operational times of these suspects.
We got the SAPS team of Tembisa track and trace unit to assist us with this operation providing them with all the information, photographs video footage etc.

A big operation was launched whereby we joined the SAPS team visiting different locations where these suspects hide and operate around Tembisa, Mamelodi and numerous other locations.
Joining SAPS to all these different locations, we managed to recover stolen motorbikes, bike trailers, bicycles, stolen vehicles, cell phones and a lot of home appliances.
A lot of suspects were arrested linked to these crimes, this investigation is still ongoing and more suspects will be arrested over the coming weekend linked to the same crimes.
A big shout out to our Tactical unit and Tembisa SAPS track and trace unit for the amazing teamwork.
Criminals must know that they are not welcome in our areas!
