Building Guttered in Fire in Verulam CBD in KZN
A building situated at the rear of a service station on Ireland Street in the Verulam CBD was guttered by fire this morning (Friday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 07:47 and found the building rented by an upholstery business engulfed in flames. Reaction Officers evacuated employees and customers from the service station as the flames grew larger.
The blaze was extinguished on arrival of the Ethekwini Fire Department. Circumstances surrounding the fire is yet to be established.
No injuries were reported.
