Hijacked vehicle recovered in Mawothi

A grey Nissan Almera that was hijacked from the Verulam CBD was recovered in Mawothi by members of Reaction Unit South Africa.

RUSA was contacted by Tracker at 22:24 requesting assistance to recover the vehicle that was emitting signals in the Mawothi area. Reaction Officers honed in on the signal and recovered the vehicle abandoned. The car was extensively damaged. The windows were shattered and a front tyre was removed. The front windscreen was shot twice.

The driver was not injured.
