Business owner beaten during robbery in Redcliffe

A man was severely beaten by two robbers who forced their way into his home on Valley View Drive in Redcliffe during the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 00:32 and found a man bleeding from an injury to his head.

He explained that while asleep two suspects forced their way into his home and began beating him with a stick. They then gained entry into his tuck shop which is attached to his home and stole cigarettes & cash before escaping on foot. The victim was transported privately to a medical facility.

Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspects however no arrests were made.
