Stolen vehicle recovered in Tongaat
A white Toyota Corolla that was stolen from Protea Road – Shakaskraal on the Dolphin Coast has recovered on Railway Street in Tongaat a short while ago (Thursday).
Information regarding the theft was circulated to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) by Tracker at 14:22. A Reaction Officer who was on patrol in Tongaat honed in on the signal and recovered the car 10 minutes later abandoned in Tongaat CBD.
It was established that the suspect had stolen the keys from the 63-year-old retired educators’ residence and drove off in the Toyota Corolla while the victim was conducting chores inside his home.
