Business on Fire at Tongaat – KZN
A business on Laura Street in the Tongaat CBD, KZN caught alight during the early parts of this morning (Saturday).
A member of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) who was on patrol in the vicinity at approximately 02:19 when he noticed smoke emanating from under the roller shutter door. The Officer contacted the RUSA Operations Center and requested assistance from the Ethekwini Fire Department.
The owner of the business was contacted and on arrival opened the store to allow Firefighters to enter. The fire was isolated to one section of the business.
Circumstances surrounding the fire was not immediately established.
