Firearm stolen during a house break-in in Oaklands
A safe containing a firearm & ammunition was amongst several items stolen during a house break-in at Oakbridge Place in Oaklands – KZN yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the property at approximately 21:27 after the homeowner discovered the burglary on his return home.
On arrival, Reaction Officers established that forced entry was gained through the kitchen door. The entire house was ransacked.
A safe containing a handgun and a box of ammunition as well as an HP Laptop and jewelry were stolen from the home.
It could not be confirmed if a vehicle was used by the suspects.
