Mangaung fire services respond to fire at home of the premier

Mangaung Fire & Rescue Services responded to a fire at the Free State Premier’s house on Thursday morning. A call was received from SAPS at 09:48 and the first two engines arrived at the premises within seven (7) minutes.

When the teams arrived on site, the fire was already at an advanced stage on the roof. The fire spread rapidly, leading to the collapse of the first floor’s roof. The fire is currently under control and the teams are busy with the cooling down process to ensure that all flames are dead.
