Police recover laptops, cellphones, iPads and cash following a business robbery

A snap operation conducted by the Mankweng Detectives, the Flying Squad and the Air wing in Seshego on Saturday, 18 March 2023, led to the recovery of laptops, cellphones, iPads, firearms and ammunition a day after a business robbery took place at Paledi Mall under Mankweng policing area.

A total of four armed suspects reportedly entered one of the shops at the mall yesterday at about 17: 25 and ordered everyone at gunpoint to lie down. They then took laptops, cellphones as well as cash and fled the scene.

The Police received information about the robbed items which led them to a house at Seshego Zone. On arrival they found two firearms and ammunition, laptops and some cash.

The suspects were not found at the house. Police investigations are continuing.
