Vehicle and illegal firearm confiscated by SA Police Services and SA National Defence Force in Limpopo

Now that the festive season is over, the influx of undocumented people, as well as criminal activities have begun in the Limpopo Province.

Members of 1 SA Tank Regiment under the command of Joint Tactical Headquarters Limpopo have arrested 49 undocumented people and among them, there was a person who had a 9mm Norincho pistol with a deleted serial number.

The pistol as well as its ammunition were handed over to the SA Police Services for forensic investigations. Our soldiers also confiscated a BMW worth R210 000.00 which was being driven by the person who was part of the occupants in which the illegal pistol was found.

The Officer Commanding Joint Tactical Headquarters Limpopo, Colonel Samuel Choene Mabotja commended the members for the job well done.
