Business robbery suspect arrested by Fidelity Services Group
Quick reaction Fidelity Armed Response leads to arrest! While on patrol in Slater Street yesterday, the Fidelity Security response officer received an activation from a business on the same street.
On arrival, the officer realized that the door to the business was forced open and could hear noises coming from inside. Our officer immediately called for backup and a response officer was dispatched.
While waiting for backup, he prevented the suspect from escaping. As soon as backup arrived the two officers jumped into action and arrested the suspect.
The SAPS and business owner were notified and arrived on site.
The suspect was handed over to SAPS for further investigation!
