The Insurance Apprentice is a reality-style series competition which premiered in 2015 and spans nine successful seasons to date. The show aims to showcase and develop skills in the short-term insurance industry while dispelling misconceptions about what insurance is all about. Created to make a difference, the series serves multiple purposes: providing entertainment through a compelling reality format, nurturing young talent to become future industry leaders, altering perceptions of insurance, and offering educational insights for both contestants and viewers alike. Through a blend of technical tasks, environmental considerations, social responsibility challenges, and business principles, the show enriches understanding within and beyond the insurance sector.
Now embarking on its 10th season, this year promises to be nothing short of extraordinary as the competition celebrates a decade of incredible milestones.
With 154 applications kickstarting the journey, season 10 of The Insurance Apprentice witnessed an impressive display of talent and determination. Following rigorous elimination rounds, contestants persevered, setting the stage for an unforgettable competition.
Sponsored by Santam Specialist Solutions, the elimination rounds unfolded across Durban, Cape Town, and Johannesburg, ensuring equal opportunity for all participants. The journey culminated in the selection of the Top 20 contestants, a feat made possible by the dedication of the judges.
Episode one marks the beginning of the final leg of the competition where the top contenders face a series of challenges under the scrutiny of esteemed judges, showcasing their skills and creativity.
