Three suspects arrested for copper cable theft.

North West: Tomorrow, 03 Friday 2017, three suspects between the ages of 25 and 29 are expected to appear in the Bafokeng Magistrates’ Court on charges of Illegal Possession of Copper Cable.

The trio’s court appearance came after they were arrested today, 2 November 2017, at about 06:00 by police officers who were busy with their patrol duties. According to information police saw a suspicious vehicle and stopped it for search and found the copper cable wrapped on the suspects’ bodies. The copper cable is estimated to the street value of R20 000-00 with a weight of 175, 90 kg. The police also found suspected stolen property in the boot of the vehicle.
