House robbery in Durban by persons posing as potential buyers

At approximately 14h00 on Friday (2016/07/22), Marshall Security were alerted to a house robbery which had just taken place at a home in Middlebrook Avenue, in the suburb of Virginia, north of Durban.

Armed Reaction officers were immediately mobilized to the scene and upon further investigation it was ascertained that three females and a male approached the home owner and entered the premesis under the pretence that they were potential buyers of the home which is currently on sale.

Once inside, one of the females allegedly managed to steal various electronic equipment, including a laptop and two tablets, before the suspects left the property in a getaway vehicle.

A description of the suspects and the vehicle involved was distributed to all available vehicles in the area and an extensive search was conducted, however the suspects remain at large.

The was handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation.
