Police and farmers work together in arresting suspects attempting to rob at farm in Belfast

Mpumalanga: Belfast – Five men aged between 32 and 36 were arrested in connection with a house robbery case reported yesterday at Belfast.

It is alleged that yesterday (27 July) around 19:30, the suspects entered a farm belonging to Mr Gerrit Roos situated on the N4 near Sunbury at Belfast and demanded cash from the victim.

Fortunately enough the wife of the victim manage to act fast and called the police and the neighbouring farmers for assistance. Both police and the farmers acted and five suspects ended up being arrested. The suspect are in custody and will appear before the Magistrate court in Belfast.
