Armed house robbery in Parkhill, north of Durban

Marshall Security received a panic alert, shortly after 4:30am on Sunday, from a premises in  East View Road in Parkhill, north of Durban.

Armed Reaction officers were immediately dispatched and on further investigation it was ascertained that four suspects armed with hand guns, forced entry into the home, tying up the home owner before ransacking the house, while his elderly mother lay asleep in a bedroom.

The suspects made off with flat screen televisions and electronic equipment fleeing in an unknown direction.

The scene was later handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation.
